Awards Terms & Proprietary Policy

Please read carefully to fully comprehend the terms and proprietary policy of MoreThan160 Ltd ("MT160"). In the following paragraphs, you will find,
PART A: the procedures that MT160 follows concerning the collection, storage, and management of Proprietary Information during the assessment process, nomination process, sponsorship application, and ticketing process of the Antonio Meucci Global Telco Awards
(hereinafter “Awards”).

PART A

1. Proprietary Policy Statement

1.1 Morethan160 Ltd (hereinafter “MT160”) strictly adheres to and fully complies with the privacy rights of all its Nominees, Peer Nomination Submitters (hereinafter “Peer Submitters”), Potential Sponsors, and Ceremony Attendees (either virtually or physically, hereinafter “Ceremony Attendees”). All the aforementioned will be collectively hereinafter referred to as “the Parties”. This Proprietary Policy Statement (hereinafter “Policy”) is constructed with the provisions of Directive (EU) 2016/943. It provides the manner in which MT160 will collect, store, and manage the Proprietary Information that Parties provide to MT160 concerning the assessment process, nomination process, sponsorship application, and ticketing process (collectively hereinafter “the procedures”) of the Awards.

1.2 When uploading supportive documentation and submitting an application to the Awards, the Parties automatically provide consent to collect, store, and manage their Proprietary Information for the procedures as described in this Policy.

1.3 It is an obligation of the Parties to carefully read and comprehend the practices followed by MT160 concerning how MT160 processes their Proprietary Information.

2. Collection of Proprietary Information provided by the Parties

2.1 PROPRIETARY INFORMATION DIRECTLY RECEIVED FROM THE NOMINEE

MT160 collects, stores, and manages thoroughly or partially, the information provided by the Nominee in the following cases:

2.1.1 Information provided within the Nomination Application, including information provided through the Awards’ website form, via e-mail, personally, or through any communication tool used during interviews.

2.1.2 Information provided in the Nomination Application which requests the following: Gender of Nomination Submitter, Full Name of the Nomination Submitter, Business Title of the Nomination Submitter, Business Email of the Nomination Submitter, Phone Number of the Nomination Submitter, Social Network URL of the Nomination Submitter (i.e., LinkedIn Profile Page).

2.1.3 Information provided in the Nomination Application, concerning the Pricing Procedure, which requests the following: Company Name, Company Address (including Postal Code, City and Country) VAT Number, Company Website URL, Full Name of Executive responsible for Invoicing, and their e-mail address.

2.1.4 Information provided in the application that requests the upload of supportive documentation (e.g., Brochures, Prospectuses, Extensive Material, Certifications, Qualifications, etc.).

2.1.5 Information exclusively provided by the Nominee.

2.1.6 MT160 commits to maintain a subjective assessment standard with all received nominations while fully complying with the Proprietary Information of its Nominees.

2.2 PROPRIETARY INFORMATION DIRECTLY RECEIVED FROM THE PEER SUBMITTER

MT160 collects, stores, and manages thoroughly or partially, the information provided by the Peer Submitter and the Suggested Peer Nominee in the following cases:

2.2.1 Information provided within the Peer Nomination Application, including information provided through the Awards’ website form, via e-mail, personally, or through any communication tool used during interviews.

2.2.2 Information provided in the Peer Nomination Application, concerning the Peer Submitter’s personal information which requests the following: Full Name of the Peer Submitter, Business Email of the Peer Submitter, Business Title of the Peer Submitter, Company Name of the Peer Submitter.

2.2.3 Information provided in the Peer Nomination Application as a second part concerning the Suggested Peer Nominee that requests the following: Full Name of the Suggested Peer Nominee, Business Title of the Suggested Peer Nominee, Company Name of the Suggested Peer Nominee, the reasons for suggestion of the Suggested Peer Nominee.

2.2.4 Information exclusively provided by the Peer Submitter or by the Suggested Peer Nominee.

2.2.5 MT160 commits to maintain a subjective assessment standard with all received nominations while fully complying with the Proprietary Information of its Suggested Peer Nominees.

2.3 PROPRIETARY INFORMATION DIRECTLY RECEIVED FROM THE POTENTIAL SPONSOR

MT160 collects, stores, and manages thoroughly or partially, the information provided by the Potential Sponsor in the following cases:

2.3.1 Information provided within the Sponsorship Application, including information provided through the Awards’ website form, via e-mail, personally, or through any communication tool.

2.3.2 Information provided in the Sponsorship Application, which requests the following: Full Name of the application submitter, Business Title of the application submitter, Company Name of the application submitter, Business Email of the application submitter, and choice of the desired sponsorship package.

2.3.3 Information exclusively provided by the Potential Sponsor.

2.4 PROPRIETARY INFORMATION DIRECTLY RECEIVED FROM THE CEREMONY ATTENDEE

MT160 collects, stores, and manages thoroughly or partially, the information provided by the Ceremony Attendee in the following cases:

2.4.1 Information provided within the Tickets Application, including information provided through the Awards’ website form, via e-mail, personally, or through any communication tool.

2.4.2 Information provided in the Tickets Application, which requests the following: Full Name of the Ceremony Attendee, Business Title of the Ceremony Attendee, Company Name of the Ceremony Attendee, and Business Email of the Ceremony Attendee.

2.4.3 Information exclusively provided by the Ceremony Attendee.

3. Management of Proprietary Information

3.1 LEGAL BASIS FOR MANAGEMENT OF PROPRIETARY DATA. MT160 relies on the Parties’ consent to manage the Proprietary Information that the nominee application procedure has provided for legally processing the Parties’ Proprietary Information under Directive (EU) 2016/943.

3.2 GROUNDS OF MANAGEMENT. MT160 utilizes the Proprietary Information of the Parties for the following reasons:

3.2.1 Receipt and assessment of the Applications and supporting documentation for the conduct of the Awards by MT160;

3.2.2 Communication with the Parties  throughout the Awards’ procedure;

3.2.3 Appointment Scheduling between the Parties and MT160 for the purposes of the Awards’ procedure;

3.2.4 Receipt and assessment of the Nomination Applications and supporting documentation for the conduct of the Awards by the Awards Judges (with whom MT160 has severally signed Non-Disclosure Agreements for the Proprietary Information that MT160 received from the Parties during its assessment process for the conduct of the Awards) for the purposes of the Awards procedures. Each Award Category includes three Judges. It is under the discretion of the Nominees to apply for

3.2.5 Appointment Scheduling between the Nominees and the Awards Judges for the conduct of the LIVE-ZOOM PRESENTATIONS (provided that the Nominee has been shortlisted for the 2nd Phase of the Awards).

3.3 SELECTION PROCEDURE. As aforementioned, MT160 will create a profile by which MT160 and the Awards Judges will select the best Nominees based on the subjective assessment standard and criteria established by MT160.  

4. Security & Confidentiality of Proprietary Information

4.1 MT160 strictly collects, stores, and manages all Proprietary Data of the Parties as confidential. None of such Data will be disclosed to any Party other than the members of the team of MT160 and the Awards Judges (only for Nominees and Peer Submitters). Every person involved in such a process is subject to confidentiality obligations and any other obligations set forth by the applicable law.

4.2 MT160 takes appropriate measures to ensure that all Proprietary Data is kept safe, including security measures to prevent accidental loss or unauthorized use or access of proprietary data. MT160 has procedures in place to address any suspected data security breaches. MT160 will notify any necessary supervisory authority of a data security breach and all affected Parties if any of the Parties’ rights and/or freedoms are at high risk due to the experienced data breach.

5. Storage of Proprietary Information & Retention Period

5.1 If the Proprietary Data is stored in MT160’s servers, it will be so in electronic folders contained in MT160’s cloud storage, accessible only from authorised MT160 personnel and the Judges for each specific Award Category (only for Nominees and Peer Submitters). This data remains within the territory of the European Economic Area.

5.2 MT160 will keep the Proprietary Information provided by the Parties until the Ceremony of the Awards. The Personal Information will be immediately erased in the following cases:

5.2.1 Erasure of Proprietary Data requested by the Parties, unless it is found to be still retainable due to the overriding legitimate interest, such as for the basis of our or an interested party’s defense claims.

5.2.2 Express intention of the Parties in an e-mail form sent to the following address antonio-meucci (at) morethan160 (dot) net

6. Rights of Parties

6.1 The Parties can choose to use the following rights, in the vast majority of cases free of charge, at any time:

6.1.1 Request access to their Proprietary Information and some additional information that this Policy has already been designed to provide the Parties with;

6.1.2 Request the rectification of any errors found in the Parties’ Proprietary Information;

6.1.3 Request for immediate erasure of the Proprietary Information from MT160 systems unless MT160’s legitimate interests in retaining such Information, such as in cases of constituting a defence claim, is found to be overriding;

6.1.4 Request for the receipt of the Proprietary Information that the Parties have provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and have the right to pass it on to third parties if technically possible and with MT160’s consent;

6.1.5 Request for the opposition to any Proprietary Information processing conducted by MT160 unless MT160’s legitimate interests in the further processing of such data are found to be overriding;

6.2 If the Parties would like to exercise one of the rights mentioned above, the Parties must do the following:

6.2.1 Contact MT160 at the e-mail address: antonio-meucci (at) morethan160 (dot) net

6.2.2 Provide an Identification

6.2.3 Provide the nature of their Requests.

7. Final Terms

7.1 MT160 wishes to resolve any questions or concerns the Parties may have regarding collecting, storing, and managing their Proprietary Information.

7.2 All Inquiries and/or Questions, Comments, and Requests relating to this Data Policy should be directed to antonio-meucci (at) morethan160 (dot) net

PART B

The following paragraphs provide an interpretation of the evaluation stages that the Antonio Meucci Global Telco Awards is divided into concerning its procedures and the necessary terms for its conduct, which the Nominees and the Peer Submitters acknowledge and provide their consent to.

1. ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE

The assessment and evaluation procedure of the Nominations for the Awards is divided into two stages. All detailed information concerning the Assessment Procedure can be retrieved from the official website of the Awards and the communication of MT160.

1.1 FIRST STAGE. The First Stage consists of the assessment and evaluation of all the nominations that are submitted for each category by each category’s assigned Judges. The Judges, severally, will receive a standard and objective rating template by MT160 that they would need to fill, following their assessment of the provided written nomination (i.e., the submitted application and supportive documentation) of each Nominee for their respective category(ies). MT160 will receive the digitally filled templates from all Judges and calculate the points for each Nomination for each category. Following the calculation, MT160 will announce the TOP THREE shortlisted Nominees from each category, and MT160 will communicate via e-mail, the results of the First Stage to all companies that have submitted a nomination for their respective category(ies). The time frame of the First Stage is from the 28th of May 2025, until the 8th of June 2025. The announcement of the results of the First Stage will be on the 9th of June, 2025.

1.2 SECOND STAGE. The Second Stage consists of the assessment and evaluation of the TOP THREE shortlisted Nominees from each category, as a result of the First Stage. The Second Stage will include the conduct of LIVE Presentations via ZOOM, between the Representator(s) of each shortlisted Nominee and the assigned Judges for each category. The maximum duration of the Presentations will be twenty minutes, followed by a dedicated 10-minute session for Q&A (a total of 30 minutes). The rating for the Second Stage for the three shortlisted Nominees will commence from zero (the ratings from the First Stage will not be calculated). Following the completion of the Presentations of all three shortlisted Nominees separately with the Judges for each category, the Judges will vote for the Nominee that will have the best presentation and overall case for the respective category. The announcement of the results from the Second Stage will be during the Ceremony of the Awards. The time frame of the Second Stage is from the 19th of June, 2025, until the 25th of June, 2025.

2. CEREMONY

2.1 The Ceremony of the Awards will be conducted on the 16th of September, 2025, in Madrid, Spain, at 19:30 (GMT +1). The Venue is announced to be Meliá Castilla Hotel at the following address: C. del Poeta Joan Maragall, 43, Tetuán, 28020 Madrid, Spain.

2.2 The Parties with this Policy are also acknowledging and providing consent that the location, venue, and time of the Ceremony of the Awards could be altered by MT160.

2.3 In the case of Force Majeure (i.e. Act of God etc.), the Parties with this Policy are also acknowledging and providing consent, that the Ceremony of the Awards could be conducted, in the worst of cases, by virtual means and manner.

3. AWARDS

Each Stage of the Assessment Procedure will provide the Nominees who will receive an Award at the Ceremony of the Awards. However, the ranking of the TOP 3 Nominees of each Category will be determined following the Second Evaluation Stage.

3.1 HIGH-DISTINCTION AWARD”.  This Award will be rewarded to the third-ranking Nominee among the TOP 3 Winners from each category, following the assessment procedure of the Second Stage.

3.2 HONORS AWARD”. This Award will be rewarded to the second-ranking Nominee among the TOP 3 Winners from each category, following the assessment procedure of the Second Stage.

3.3 EXCELLENCE AWARD”. This Award will be rewarded to the first-ranking Nominee among the TOP 3 Winners from each category, following the assessment procedure of the Second Stage.

4. Final Terms

4.1 MT160 wishes to resolve any questions or concerns the Parties may have regarding the procedures of the Awards in the most rapid and efficient manner.

4.2 The Parties acknowledge and consent that it is under the full discretion of MT160 to alter all given dates and details regarding the location of the Awards.
